There is not very much I can say about the following "testimony" which is recent and spans only 10 months in terms of knowing Clark and his family. I am sure the woman is honest and that she was beguiled by Clark's manner as we all were at one time. It is clear, however, that (a) she knows nothing about SAI's early history, and (b) is not a part of the "inner circle" of the Patri-Matriarchal Priesthood (so-called). She would soon get a different view of what SAI is all about by reading through the voluminous correspondences I have from Clark and his early associates.

She is welcome to come and see them any time. I somehow doubt, however, that Clark will give her my email address (cwarren@nccg.org)*, and there is no guarantee that she would want to see what I have. However, the material - which runs into hundreds of pages - is here. And should others ever feel it worthwhile to put all of it up on a special SAI site and would be willing to donate the time to scan all the materials, I would be more than willing to make it available.

As to Clark's honesty, there is so much material which shows the contrary that I will confine it to the pages where he openly lies.

*A few weeks after putting this rebuttal up on the NCCG.ORG homepage I received an email to this email address containing a VIRUS which our system detected and which would have wiped my hardddisk clean had I opened it. I can't be sure who sent it, of course, but I will say this: this particular email address is only to be found on THIS PAGE and nowhere else on this website. I have since received at least TWO more attempts to download a virus using this address. I let the reader draw his own conclusions [15 July 2001].

Hello my name is Gil. I have been living in Davied's familiy house for about ten months. For years have had an interest in religion & spirituality. Approximately 1 year ago I started reading writings regarding the Essenes. I wanted to know more about the Essenes, christianity, & I also wanted to live with people who care about living a harmonious lifestyle which is in harmony with nature & purer than what the culture & society offered me. I connected with someone who is associated with an Essene church. I told him that I was interested in living with people who live the Essene way. He gave me Davied's phone number . After recieving the phone #'. I called Davied and talked with him often, almost every week On the phone he was very nice. At that time Iwas living in Israel. Ithen decided that Iwanted to fly over to Canebeds to check out what's going there. Just a little bit before I came over I happened to come accross Christopher Warrens's web site. It made me feel uncomfortable and worried, but I doubted it since I had talked with Davied often on the phone. I decided to go to the community anyway. In the End of August 1999 I flew from Israel to Canebeds Arizona.

After living here for10 months I know that Davied & family are really nice, and things that were written in Mr Warren's web site do not reflect the truth about Davied & his Family. One thing I know from having many conversations with him is that his Web site reflects his true beliefs. I have not come accross any perverted sexual behaviors, no molesting of children. And the women that were here, besides his wife, were never aproached by him either sexually or inapropriately. No Satan Worship, No brainwashing of people. No presssure to conform to his beliefs. Even today I dont beleive all that he does because of my lack of information on whether all of it is true or not. This does not disturb our freindship and there is an atmosphere of respect and tolerance. The children are very nice and treated well. I have respect for Davied for making the effort and wanting to search for what is true. He inspires me to find what is true and right. My impression of Davied is that he is honest and sincere.

My opinion of Christopher Warren's Page is that it is misleading. I dont have a problem with the fact that some one disagrees with Davied's theological or religious beliefs. In fact I think its good if someone expresses their opinions in order to discern things. I'm not protecting his religious beliefs, but what he (Mr.Warren) claims to be Davied's life and habits and Religion is not true. I question Mr. Warren's intentions in making his web site and making up false information. My impression is that if you want to know Davied, his web site does show his true beliefs and you can talk to him and he will be honest with you. Davied will not decieve you like Mr. Warren says. Davied will answer you honestly if you write him. This is what I believe from knowing him personally.
