TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

Inasmuch as the Independent Church of Jesus Christ was, in the past, associated in the minds of many of its investigators and acquaintances with the author of the "Oracles of Mohonri", namely, "Davied Israel" because of its use by that Church, the following Statement (originally published in 1989) has been reproduced to dispell such associations. And whilst the Independent Church of Jesus Christ no longer exists (having been disbanded in 1992), two of those who have prepared this statement wish it to be known that they personally, as also the church fellowship to which they presently (1993) belong (NCCF**), have no belief or interest in, or connection to, the the cult leader "Davied Israel" or the works that he has written, in any way whatsoever, and that their opinion of the spiritual rogue and his organisation, as found in the statement below, remains unchanged.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON "SONS AHMAN ISRAEL"

We, the undersigned, being members and representatives of the Priesthood of the Independent Church of Jesus Christ publicly declare to all nations, kindreds, and tongues, and to all who shall make enquiry of this work -- which through the grace of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ has been established to preach salvation to mankind -- that this body of Christians has no fellowship, affiliation, or association with the occultic organisation known as "Sons Ahman Israel" which has promulgated false, heretical, divisive and blasphemous doctrines and practices inimical to the Christian virtues of temperance, chastity, honesty, integrity and honour.

We denounce and anathematize the doctrine of a community of wives, otherwise known as matriarchal marriage, patri/matriarchal marriage, or sexual communism, and all and every kind of adultery, fornication, incest and sexual vice which are the doctrines and practices of hell.

We denounce and anathematize the practice of nudity, the use of alcohol in ecclesiastical ordinances for the purpose of inebriation, magic, divination, the occult arts, sexual ordinances and every work of darkness, of which we do testify, having seen, witnessed, read in personal correspondences or heard taught within the nefarious cult called "Sons Ahman Israel".

We condemn, call to repentance and demand restitution from the founder of this organisation, Davied Israel (alias David Clark or Gilbert Clark), and his conspirator, Hava Pratt (alias Hava Bryant or Jean Poulsen), who have committed adultery and fornication in the Name of God with married men and women and homosexuals, deceived innocent people, defiled virgins, divided families, made children fatherless, caused sorrow and suffering, overturned the Word of God in the Scriptures, blasphemed our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and have brought a reproach upon the good name of true religion.

We believe in the nuclear family and in the sanctity of marriage. We also believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men and women. Indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul, "we believe all things, we have endured many things, and hope to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or praiseworthy, we seek after these things".

Postscript #1

We would council all our friends, associates and acquaintances in the various Evangelical, Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Essene, Nazarene and Latter Day Saint Churches, therefore, to have nothing to do with "S.A.I" or any of its productions which are, by their own designation and classification, is New Age Mormonism.

Postscript #2

In 1995/6 the New Covenant Christian Fellowship (NCCF) was reorganised into the New Covenant Church of God (NCCG). Although SAI has evolved considerably since the statement made above it's core doctrines and hidden practices remain unchanged. Almost all of its early leaders and members have since left SAI though the group continues to attract new victims. Our sober warning, made some years before, still remains in force.
